The 37th Shanghai Tourism Festival Summer Tourism Season launches 170 unique cultural and tourism activities

According to the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, the 37th Shanghai Tourism Festival Summer Tourism Season will officially start in 2026. As the beginning of this year's tourism festival's "one festival, two seasons" summer season, from July 8th to August 31st, Shanghai will launch 170 characteristic cultural and tourism activities. With an innovative model of global linkage and layered supply, it will launch six theme weeks: "Sea Cute Master, Cultural Expo Legacy, Fireworks Revitalization, Art and Color City, Rural Pastoral Song, and Exploring the Magic City", creating a summer cultural and tourism matrix that covers all age groups and connects the whole region, shaping a new image of Shanghai as an international cultural and tourism consumption benchmark city.

This summer tourism season will connect with the classic activity season from September 1st to October 6th, forming a wonderful and long-term linkage pattern for the festival.
