    brilliant place for few days chill out. hotel is in a decent geographic area with awsome city view from the room. staff always have smile on the their face and they have been really helpful. however, the hotel could be improved a bit more in terms of the hardware and maintaince. as one of the dimmer of the side light doesnt work and the house maintaince team needs to give the shower screen a bit of scrub. anyway it was a very impressive stay and im pleased to stay again when next time i visit chongqing.

    Having recently stayed at a disastrous 5* hotel in Beijing, the Glenview was wonderful. The executive room was modern and spacious and offered great views of the Chongqing skyline. Bath/shower/toiletries were excellent- good water pressure and temperature. The breakfast offered an excellent choice, and dishes were replaced right up until end of service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and you could usually find a good English speaker when our limited Mandarin wouldn't suffice; on one occasion when we asked for a taxi to the restaurant they booked us, they instead suggested it would be easier to walk, and a member of staff escorted us there! The exec room, whilst a little quiet, offered a good range of food and drinks, again with friendly service (and superb views from 39th floor).Only negative would be the pretty slow (but free) wifi. But highly recommended.
